Abstract :
In this work, we present a general approach for the realization of reflectionless potentials for periodic photonic structures in the form of coupled-resonator optical waveguides (CROW) or optical waveguide arrays. Wave transport in such systems is primarily defined through tunneling between optical modes of the neighboring sites. We suggest that the regime of reflectionless light propagation can be realized for special class of modulation profiles of coupling coefficients.
