Abstract
A two-plane direction finding processing method that eliminates the polarization-induced AOA (angle of arrival) errors that limit the accuracy of fixed polarization direction finding arrays is described. Two polarization problems plaguing these arrays are discussed, followed by a method to measure the polarization of the incident signal. Methods to increase AOA accuracy based on the measured incident polarization are then examined.<>
