Abstract
A novel neural network implementation of the bearing estimation problem, in which the interconnections of the network are predetermined only by the array configuration irrespective of the scenario of incident waves, is proposed. Simulations were carried out on a digital computer to study the performance of the proposed neural network. A uniform linear array with ten isotropic antennas spaced half a wavelength apart was considered.<>
