Abstract
In this paper pole placement problem for interval plants is addressed within an interval analysis framework. The method proposed in this paper is on designing fixed order controller of prescribed order, for an uncertain family of plant containing parametric uncertainty so that stability robustness, performance robustness and tracking robustness can be attained. The proposed method is applied to design robust controller for linear time invariant system in presence of parametric uncertainty. The proposed method is simple and involves less computational complexity and provides easy method to obtain robust compensator. Furthermore it also has advantage of computational efficiency and convenience of linear programming methods. The result shows efficacy of proposed method.
