Abstract :
Outlook Express (OE for short) is a commonly used e-mail client. So the DBX file generated by OE has important research value. In this paper, we research into the file structure and data organization of the DBX file, then design an OE mail file parsing system based on DBX file analysis. The analytical program based on this design has a strong independence, and it optimizes the analysis process. So the program can get the information in the DBX file completely and quickly. It is very useful in practical application.
