Abstract :
To make the carrier-borne electronic equipments working without interference to exert completely the efficiency of naval combat system, electromagnetic compatibility of the whole ship formation should be guaranteed. This paper describes the mathematical models that predict interference between warships assuming antenna-to-antenna coupling. The propagation loss for warship formation is analyzed detailedly using an integrated model combining both the sea effect and the atmospheric effect. Finally, the predicted results of a sample analysis in conjunction with these models and classified cull method are presented.
