  • Abstract
    To improve the performance of differential evolution (DE), a novel algorithm called chaotic differential evolution (CDE) was proposed in this paper. Chaotic local search, which is characterized bits randomicity, is employed to overcome the weakness of the premature convergence of standard DE. Three multidimensional non-linear functions were used to verify the efficiency of CDE and the simulation results show that it is a promising method with the advantages of better search ability and robust.
