Abstract :
According to our country´s targets for controlling greenhouse gas emissions, a charging model of power generator planning, which includes CO2 intensity constrains, was built. By consulting the medium and long term plan of renewable energy sources, and the predicted value of gross national product, moreover, considering future low-carbon technology progress, the optimized power generator structure was figured out. Theoretical analysis and calculation show that the proportion of renewable energy generation increased, and the proportion of fired power and oil fired power generation significantly decreased. It can be achieved for an optimization of the nationwide power generation structure under the low carbon targets. At the same time, technology progress has a certain influence in the change of CO2 intensity. Low-carbon targets are not only depending on the adjustment of power generator structure, but also the application of low carbon technology in power industry. This work is supported by soft science research project of State Grid Corporation of China.
