Abstract :
In this paper, we introduce the design of a portable intelligent nose. The intelligent nose can provide heated, wet and filtered air. It´s especially suitable for respiratory patients and the people who are in cold and dry conditions. The system is divided into two parts: the gas passage system and the main control system. The former is responsible for air measurement, transmission and processing. And the latter is responsible for the intelligent control and human-computer interaction. The two parts cooperate with each other. The microcontroller of the system is C8051F020, which is an advanced system-on-chip (SoC) chip with rich peripherals. Hence it is simple to design the external circuits. In this way, it not only strengthens the integration of functional modules, but also makes the system reliable. So the design of the intelligent nose is able to meet the requirements of size, reliability and others.
