Abstract :
This paper Investigates the performance of direct power control strategies both steady state and transient applied to doubly fed induction generator (DFIG). These methods directly track stator active and reactive power variations within a fixed sampling period. Simulations are performed using detailed models in Simulink/Matlab. Transient performance and steady state operation of the DFIG are illustrated.
