Abstract
A novel extension evaluation method of coal mines geological safety was proposed in this paper. Based on the extension theory, a matter-element model was established for qualitatively and quantitatively describing the safety evaluation problem of coal mines geological safety. The degree of relation based on the dependent function was employed to determine the nature and the level of the safety in a evaluation system. The case analysis indicated that the application of proposed method is feasible and reasonable and the matter-element model established can comprehensively reflect the influences of multiple factors on geological safety state. This extension evaluation method is easier and more practical than other traditional AI methods. Therefore, it will be favorable to evaluate the coal mines geological safety.
