  • Abstract
The authors propose a distributed problem solver, implemented on a suitable layered architecture supported by a computer network, as an automated tool for seismic studies. Four expertise levels have been identified. Each one corresponds to a suitable knowledge domain inside of which experts work to find a synergic solution
