To help students change from passive learning to active learning, the teaching reform of experimental courses for "Digital Image Processing" based on project learning theory is discussed in this paper, which studies the integration of experimental environment establishment, teaching content, teaching methods, strategies skills, and learning evaluation. The application of these methods to the teaching process received better results to improve students\´ knowledge, interesting and ability of resolving problems.
