  • Abstract
The Loral Instrumentation System 500 is a complete avionics simulation and analysis development tool that addresses the spectrum of MIL STD 1553 avionics development needs, including: real-time monitoring; simulations; data capture, time stamping, and archival; multiple bus correlation; interactive data browsing; exhaustive postanalysis; and report generation. The expandable and portable System 500 is based on a UNIX/X Window System foundation. It uses OSF Motif for its multiwindowed graphical user interface. Loral plans to support other avionics bus standards, including the next-generation high-speed data bus under development for the advanced avionics architecture
