Abstract :
The paper researches on the auto manufacturers´ course of forming the core competitiveness advantages by analyzing the history of GM, Toyota and Hyundai. It is found that an auto manufacturer to become the world top one should have the following capabilities: R&D innovation, management innovation, attracting and keeping the talented persons, large-scale operation, and exploration of the global market. The paper offer three strategies for Chinese Auto Enterprises that include following the successful path step by step, taking localized innovation and making different strategies based on the company´s condition.
