Abstract :
The technology of visualization is widely applied in modeling and simulation (M&S). At first, the principle of simulation visualization is introduced. Then aspects of visualization technology applied in M&S are mainly discussed in this paper, that are, modeling visualization, simulation experiment visualization, simulation result analysis visualization and simulation management visualization. The applications cover all the M&S activities. Modeling visualization includes visualization of models and modeling process, model visualization is elaborated in system models, environment models, relationships and interactions between models, simulation experiment visualization consists of experiment original state visualization and experiment procedure visualization, simulation result analysis visualization is presented with technology of visualization applied in result visible and result analysis and evaluation, visualization management of simulation data and models, experiment design, state stakeout, human computer interaction and manual intervention show the management visualization in simulation.
