  • Abstract
In this paper various configurations of linear switched reluctance motor (LSRM) with permanent magnet (PM) are studied in order to obtain the high driving force construction. The 3-D Finite Element Method (FEM) is used to evaluate LSRM parameters. By comparing the maximum driving force the optimal construction has been determined. Its average driving force is increased 27%. The analysis presents that in the optimal structure the permanent magnet is applied in middle of pole surfaces.
