Abstract :
A digitally controlled rubidium oscillator (DCRO) which can synchronize another frequency source is described. A±3×10 -8 wide frequency control range which has good linearity, and a 1×10-12 fine control step are highlighted. A synthesizer which has three stage phase locked loop oscillators with variable frequency dividers is discussed. Data for controlling the frequency dividers, written in a 3 Mbit ROM, were calculated using a computer
