Abstract :
In this paper, we consider the fault accommodation for a class of linear time invariant (LTI) systems with an innovation form. The considered faults are mainly sensor and actuator faults. In the first place, the underlying faults are parameterized such that they can be estimated using the input-output data. If the system is time invariant, the actuator and sensor fault magnitudes can be identified by the proposed method. The fault diagnosis result is further applied to the fault accommodation in the control system. The sensor bias errors or the actuator bias errors are removed from the feedback signals or the controller output action. A simulation example is given to show the effectiveness of the proposed methods.
