An experiment for propagation studies at 94 GHz

The experiment presented was conceived to study bistatic scattering as well as attenuation on a short horizontal path. The characteristics of the rain (rain rate and drop size) are measured simultaneously with the transmitted electromagnetic power for various scattering angles. This allows one to compute a theoretical received power for each rain event and to compare it with the experimental result. One can also study the influence of the drop size repartition
