Abstract
Store-operated calcium entry (SOCE) and extracellular calcium sensing are two important feedback control mechanisms of calcium ion uptake into yeast cells observed in experiments. In this work, we design output feedback controllers for these two mechanisms. Using the control model, we simulate the experimental observations on these two mechanisms and on high-affinity calcium ion influx system in pmr1 mutants.
