Abstract :
We demonstrate a rapid Mueller matrix and PMD measurement based on ultrafast xy-field sampling, by analyzing temporal complex amplitudes of polarization-multiplexed signals. The measurement time of 1 ms was successfully accomplished for the probe bandwidth of 300 GHz.
