Abstract :
UBIF having compressive residual stress at cladding surface without additional layer is newly developed, which realizes both 13 times longer lifetime at 1.3mm-radius bending and 100 times lower 25-years failure probability at 5mm-radius bending compared with those of conventional UBIF.
