Abstract :
The running of limekiln mostly depended on manual experience. Feeding speed didn´t satisfy accurate control requirement. Bottom blast volume determines output. When blast volume is invariable, flue gas temperature deviation and its change trend determine feeding speed. Because flue gas temperature deviation and its change trend were used as input, feeding speed was used as output, the author used MAX-MIN rationalistic method, designed a dual-input, single-output fuzzy controller, which comprised 49 rules. After the above-mentioned fuzzy controller was used on a limekiln with diameter of four metre, the feeding materials process automatization was realized. The lime output increased from 12 t/h to 19 t/h, the CO2 concentration in exit rose from 33% to 39%, coke consumption decreased about 17%.
