Abstract :
The geometry of the loaded rectangular waveguide lends itself for a rigorous hybrid mode analysis. However, in the literature there are no published numerical results of the application of such analysis on the rectangular waveguide with lossy magnetic coating in the E-plane walls. The propagation and radiation characteristics of a square waveguide with a lossy magnetic coating in the E-plane walls (perpendicular to the E field of the TE10 mode) are evaluated numerically extending a rigorous hybrid-mode approach previously used for the rectangular waveguide loaded with dielectric slabs
