Prediction of the radiation pattern of phased array antennas using modified S-parameter measurements

The authors show that the conventional S-parameter radiation pattern prediction technique produces significant pattern errors which can be accounted for by re-radiation terms. These terms are easily determined through a series of S-parameter measurements. The technique is demonstrated on a three element array, but will also be applicable to larger arrays
