Abstract :
Results are presented here for urban DS-CDMA operation based upon wideband propagation measurements taken in the City of Bristol (UK). They show that the fast fading characteristics of wideband DS-CDMA signals differ significantly from the narrowband Rayleigh model when modest spreading bandwidths are employed. Further, it was found that for bandwidths beyond 10 MHz, signal statistics approaching deterministic values prevailed
