Abstract :
We present a robust and effective chromatic dispersion (CD) compensation scheme in incoherent multilevel receivers with field-reconstruction technique. Eight-level (30-Gbit/s 8DPSK and 8QAM) signalling experiments are performed for the first time, resulting in >1200-ps CD tolerances.
