            Abstract :
The study of JEM effect in jet engines is a new electromagnetic scattering problem which widely evokes the attention of scholars home and abroad. It is a new area of research in the field of radar technology and target reflective specific property. This paper discusses the periodically changing laws of the net aperture of the revolving-vane of a jet engine, and also adopts the method of mode-matching to analyze the JEM effect expressed by the revolving-vane to the reflective coefficient of waveguide transmission modes by equivalent engine intake as a waveguide pattern
