Abstract :
The development of ICT technologies enabled important steps forward to developing distance learning systems based on the Internet, not only for theoretical work but also for experiments. This research aims to extend an experiment-based e-Learning platform with virtual tutoring capabilities and is centred on individualizing learning paths for theoretical and practical training and updating of the operators of SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) systems. For this use-case of online education on a virtual laboratory platform, the authors built the learning curve based on variables like teaching level and repetition (rehearsal) level.
