Abstract :
8 mm spin magnetic filter covering 26.5 to 40 GHz frequency ranges have been designed. This filter has an insertion loss of 10 dB, the bandwidth of 120-200 MHz, the off-resonance isolation of 40 dB, and a maximum tuning current of 1.2 A at 40 GHz. The magnetic circuit is made of compound material. The tapered pole pieces consists of Fe-Co-V alloy. The magnetic shell consists of a soft magnetic high-permeability nickel-iron alloy.
