Abstract :
With the rapid development of Linux, Ext2 file system gradually becomes the popular file system format. But in the network cluster, while copying Ext2 file system format to many hard disks, this operation will waste much more time relatively. By analyzing the data structure of Ext2 file system on the hard disk partition, and getting the effective data bitmap, put forward to the effective data bitmap analyse algorithm and apply it to improve the speed and efficiency of hard disk copy dramatically.The experiment result shows that using effective data bitmap analyse algorithm to complete the hard disk copy, especially in process of recovering the datum of Linux operation system, is a new method.
