Abstract
Several cases for different connection ways of straps and output coupling plate were simulated by MAFIA. High-order axial modes are found because the anode length is longer than 1/2 wavelength. Their frequency properties show that the effect of straps is strong enough to get a good mode separation when the four straps (or the coupling plate) have the same connection way to vanes at two ends
