Abstract :
The basic balanced mixer parameters are an operation frequency range, IF passband, conversion losses, noise factor, signal and heterodyne channels isolation, VSWR of an input signal and IF output, heterodyne power, allowable pulsing and continuous input power. The authors discuss how these parameters may be optimized in the design of a microwave low-noise balanced mixer
