Abstract
Algorithms are presented for the dynamic analysis of SRM drive systems without most of the approximations used at present except mutual inductance effects. Two methods of current control are proposed to achieve minimum torque pulsations and hence speed pulsations in the drive system. A CAE package, SIMSRM has been developed by the authors, and key results using the package are presented.<>
