  • Abstract
    Silicon Microphotonics provides performance attributes for generational scaling of cost, energy and bandwidth density: small footprint, waveguide integration and highly parallel architectures through large-scale electronic-photonic integration. This tutorial presents design principles for monolithically integrated, silicon-based optical components, circuits and architectures.
