Planning and quality policies at Electricite de France

The authors discuss the power quality policies and network planning up to 1985. A new policy was implemented in 1986 which extends to 1995. There will then be a further review of policies in 1995. The author discusses the new MV supply contract and medium and short term planning with respect to the objectives set out by these policies
