Abstract :
The paper investigates the global existence and energy decay of solutions to the Kirchhoff-like type wave equation. The aim is to show the global existence of the solutions and estimate the decay rate. It is well known that solutions of the equations develop singularities after some finite time even for small, smooth initial data.
