Abstract :
In order to study the performance of SBS modified asphalt and the influence of aging, two types of SBS and three kinds of base asphalts are selected according to SHRP index, and performances of combination of modified asphalt at different aging phases are evaluated. The results indicate that the high temperature performance of modified asphalt aged increases, but low temperature property is dependent on its combination. The study also shows that linear type SBS and star type SBS have the similar modification effect, while base asphalt plays an important role in modification effect.
