Abstract :
The broadband analogue modulation performance of a directly modulated VCSEL is demonstrated. SFDR values greater than 85 dB. Hz2/3 at 70°C from 1 to 20 GHz and less than 5.6% EVM with 802.11g signals up to 19 GHz are achieved.
