Abstract :
Fully automated monitoring system of health status in daily life used at a pilot house called “Welfare Techno House (WTH)” was designed. This system was integrated with three monitoring devices of (1) body and excreta weight in lavatory, (2) electrocardiogram (ECG) in bathtub and (3) ECG in bed without utilizing body surface electrodes in a non-conscious manner at the WTH. For the evaluation of automated health monitoring system, the authors tried a long-term and continuous measurement to monitor health parameters on young and elderly subjects without disturbing ordinary daily life
