Abstract :
Micro-plasma arc welding has some remarkable characteristics, such as high restraint degree, high energy density and good arc stability, and is suitable for welding ultra-thin and ultra-fine structural parts. Due to the complexity of welding process, it is needed to adjust many parameters in welding process. Welding sequence of Micro-plasma arc welding was introduced and a multi-parameter control system which can adjust the parameters of the Micro-plasma arc welding process was designed in this paper. The debugging results showed that the multi-parameter control system of micro-plasma arc welding can adjust many parameters, such as welding current, base current, peak current, arc striking current, arc ending current, pulse frequency, pulse duty cycle, welding current upslope time, welding current down slope time, pre gas supply time and post gas supply time. So it meets the application of micro-plasma arc welding on a variety of materials in many fields.
