Abstract :
The radiated field and the active impedance of a large antenna array of wide printed slots excited by microstriplines are analyzed. A set of coupled integral currents in a cell is obtained. The integral equations are solved by the method of moments for input reflection coefficient, microstrip current, and electric field excited on the slot. Reasonably accurate results (radiated field and input impedance) were obtained with three to four basis functions for each unknown distribution (total less than 14).<>
