Abstract
The design, development and the measurement of a dual polarised, electromagnetically coupled square patch is described. The antenna array is required to scan not only in the elevation plane, providing multiple and variable swath operation, but also in the azimuth plane so that the SAR antenna can be used in the spotlight mode.
