A design of simple serial communication protocol based on the wireless sensor network

Based on the wireless sensor network, a simple serial communication protocol is designed in this paper. This design is based on a wireless sensor network composed of many sensor modules buried under the highway pavement, monitoring stations beside the road and center controller. It can realize measurement data transmitting and receiving between center controller and many different sensor modules. It was proved by test that the design is reliable and effective.
