Abstract :
Quick response is the basic characteristics of the advanced manufacturing system. The design iteration and the uncertain time in the Product Development Process(PDPs) will influence the product development time. Through the analysis of the iterated product development process, considering the design iteration and the uncertain time of the design activities in the PDPs simultaneous, an optimization model, based on the Markov process and Genetic Algorithm(GA), was built to improve the PDPs. The case demonstrates the model methods and the detail process to working out parameters in the optimized model.
