Abstract :
Based on the state equations of an RLC circuit and hard-limiting characteristics of a transconductor a method is introduced to study and simulate the pulling effect in differential LC oscillators. This method includes phase and amplitude disturbances all at once. The model is validated by measurement results and an example is given to illustrate the application of this method in verifying the real circuits.
