Abstract
In order to prevent tea plant from frost damage, a temperature auto-monitoring and frost prevention real time control system based on a Z-BEE wireless sensor networks for tea farm is designed. The system is constructed by a Z-BEE wireless sensor networks, temperature sensors, an ARM9 S3C2410 chip, fans for frost prevention and an IBM personal computer with GIS and a tea farm management and control system. Temperature information in the tea farm, combined with its position information, is transmitted to the management center by the Z-BEE wireless sensor networks. In the management center, GIS is employed to management temperature sensors and fans in the tea farm. The system can be used to fulfill real time temperature auto-monitoring, control the fans to blow air in the thermal inversion layer to the canopy of the tea plant to prevent the tea plant from frost damage and ensure the quality and quantity of tea production in tea farm.
