Abstract :
This paper proposes a prototype structure of a permanent magnet disc synchronous motor for electric vehicle application. By three-dimensional finite element analysis, the electromagnetic force and torque of this machine are calculated. Results show that satisfactory electromechanical performance can be achieved and capabilities for electric vehicle related applications can be confirmed
