Abstract :
Resonant converters with multiple outputs are investigated. Steady-state error on the cross-regulated output voltage is shown to be due to leakage inductances of the transformer and resistance components in the circuit. The cross-regulation characteristics of several kinds of resonant converters and conventional pulse width-modulated (PWM) converters are compared and discussed. A multi-output converter with magnetic power controllers is proposed to compensate for cross-regulation error and regulate all of the multiple output voltages precisely with the constant switching frequency.<>
